Intestinal Cancer: Know Fast, Able to Cure

Secretion is a normal thing that everyone needs to do as a routine. In fact, there are many people that have secretion that is not routine because it takes 3-5 days until the secretion will occur. The abnormality is often found, like melena, and might think that it might come from hemorrhoid even though such abnormality might become the silent danger that can lead to critical illness.

Colon cancer is the cancer that can be commonly found in Thailand and around the world. The patient will have abnormal secretion, like constipation, diarrhea, and melena. Some patients come to see the doctor because of blood loss until having anemia. Mostly, the cancer is found around the colon in the abdominal cavity more than the direct intestine. This type of cancer comes from having high fat food regularly and another part comes from heredity. It cannot be completely cured. The endoscopy or other methods are needed to detect the disease and remove the bad flesh to prevent the spreading of the disease.

The detection of colon cancer starts from detection after the screening test and when the symptoms occur. For example: Melena, which is the basic symptom that most patients come to see the doctor and feel quite anxious. Some people might secrete with blood or some people might secrete in blood with no feces at all. The diagnosis of whether you have colon cancer or not can be done by endoscopy. If an abnormality occurs and it can be detected fast, a permanent cure can be done. If found in Phase 1-2, most patients can be completely cured.

Who should receive the gastrointestinal test?

-

1. Those who like to consume meat, especially red meat and high fat food with less fiber.

2. Those who drink alcoholic drinks and smoke cigarettes.

3. Those who have irritable bowel syndrome or chronic enteritis.

4. Those who are 50 years old and above.

5. Those with the family who has a history of colon cancer.

Colon cancer can be prevented.

Of course, cancer can occur to anyone, especially those who neglect taking care of their own food consumption behavior. Avoid these foods; for example, burned food, oily food, and grilled food, as well as avoid a lifestyle that can weaken our body and cause cancer, which are smoking, drinking liquor, and lack of exercise. If you change these behaviors, eat food with high fiber, have healthy food, eat lots of green vegetables, and exercise regularly, it can reduce the risk of having intestinal cancer.

The colon cancer is not a scary disease. Only if we have the consumption behavior that is nutritious and numerous, observe ourselves if your secretion is normal or not. When finding an abnormality, come to see the doctor to receive the treatment immediately. For those who do not have symptoms, have a health check-up and screening test for gastrointestinal tract system for prevention and to stay away from the cancer in the gastrointestinal tract system.

Ovarian Cysts: A Hidden Threat Every Woman Should Know

These days, who would have thought that “ovarian cysts” would become a silent danger women need to be aware of? What’s even more concerning is that ovarian cysts often present no clear warning signs. Many women may be unaware that they have an ovarian cyst until they experience severe symptoms such as intense menstrual cramps, irregular periods, abdominal bloating, noticeable lumps in the pelvic area, or severe pain during intercourse. If left untreated, this condition can potentially be life-threatening. Unveiling the Secrets of Ovarian Cysts with a Specialist Professor Emeritus Dr. Sangchai Preutthipan, a specialist in reproductive medicine and laparoscopic surgery from Praram 9 Hospital, explains that the “ovaries” are small, thumb-sized organs responsible for producing eggs each month. With each ovulation, a fluid-filled sac forms around the egg. Sometimes, these sacs don’t dissolve as they should, leading to cyst formation. There are several types of ovarian cysts, including those caused by ovarian dysfunction, tumor-related cysts, endometriosis cysts (also known as chocolate cysts), cysts resembling other body tissues, and even cancerous cysts. Dr. Sangchai further notes that women of reproductive age up until menopause are at risk for ovarian cysts. Around 30-35% of women develop cysts due to ovarian dysfunction, while 20% develop tumor-related or chocolate cysts. Approximately 15% may have cysts that resemble other tissue types, and 1-5% are diagnosed with cancerous cysts. Each type of cyst carries different health risks.
