Praram 9 Hospital Hosts 5th–6th Robotic Training Sessions Sharing Knowledge in Robotic-Assisted Knee Replacement Surgery with Orthopedic Surgeons from Malaysia

Praram 9 Hospital continues its Robotic Training Program, providing opportunities for knowledge sharing and professional exchange in robotic-assisted knee replacement surgery with international orthopedic surgeons.

The hospital recently hosted the 5th and 6th Robotic Training sessions, welcoming orthopedic surgeons from Malaysia. Held on 7 September 2026 and 13 September 2026, respectively, the sessions were led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pruk Chaiyakit, with the 6th session also joined by Thai orthopedic specialists.

The program combined theoretical lectures with hands-on training, covering the application of robotic technology in both Total Knee Arthroplasty (TKA) and Unicompartmental Knee Arthroplasty (UKA) using the CORI Robotic System. Participants had the opportunity to gain practical experience while exchanging clinical perspectives with Thai orthopedic specialists.

The continued organization of the Robotic Training Program reflects Praram 9 Hospital’s commitment to advancing medical education and professional collaboration. It also provides a platform for orthopedic specialists from Thailand and abroad to exchange knowledge and experience in the application of robotic-assisted technology for knee replacement surgery, supporting the continued development of advanced surgical care in the region.
