Praram 9 Hospital Celebrates Its 34th Anniversary Building on Expertise in Complex Diseases Toward Preventive Healthcare That Meets Every Lifestyle Under the Concept "SELF-CARE IS HEALTHCARE"

For more than three decades, Praram 9 Hospital has continuously developed the quality of its medical treatment and services. On the occasion of its 34th anniversary, Praram 9 Hospital is building on its expertise in complex diseases toward preventive healthcare that meets every lifestyle under the concept "SELF-CARE IS HEALTHCARE," reflecting the hospital's role in providing comprehensive care ranging from risk assessment, prevention, treatment, to rehabilitation, in order to promote a better quality of life for Thai people at every stage of life.
Dr. Satian Pooprasert, Chief Executive Officer of Praram 9 Hospital, said, "Throughout the past 34 years, what Praram 9 Hospital has always placed importance on is the quality of medical treatment and the trust of those who receive our services. Therefore, we have continuously developed our medical team, specialized medical centers, and technology together so that patients receive appropriate care and achieve better treatment outcomes."
This approach is reflected through medical outcomes in various specialties, including kidney transplantation with a success rate of 96.7%, coronary angioplasty with balloon and stent with a success rate of 98%, as well as the treatment of patients with acute ischemic stroke, in which thrombolytic medication can be administered in as little as 24 minutes, with 90% of patients able to return to normal or near-normal daily life. Meanwhile, 88% of patients undergoing total knee replacement surgery are able to begin walking within 24 hours after surgery. The hospital has adopted key technologies such as the Stroke Fast Track system using MRI to assist in assessment and treatment planning, the Biplane Neuro Intervention system, and the da Vinci Surgical System to support treatment that is appropriate for each individual patient.
In addition to its medical outcomes, Praram 9 Hospital has received the Sustainability Excellence Award from the SET Awards 2025 and, most recently, the Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards 2026 for the "Happy Kidney, Happy Life" project, reflecting its commitment to treatment quality, sustainability, and applying its expertise to benefit patients and society as a whole.
