Praram 9 Hospital Holds Seminar “Social Skills: When the World Is Not Kind, Children Need Social Skills” Helping Parents Understand the Essential Skills That Enable Children to Live Confidently with Others

Praram 9 Hospital held the seminar “Social Skills: When the World Is Not Kind, Children Need Social Skills” on Saturday, 13 June 2026, at the Grand Hall, 5th Floor, Building A, Praram 9 Hospital. The event attracted a large number of parents with children aged 3–12 years.
The seminar was honored to welcome Dr. Prani Paveenchana, Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at Praram 9 Hospital and owner of the “Doctor Maewnam Tells Stories” page, who shared her knowledge and exchanged perspectives closely with parents. The seminar covered key topics that modern parents should understand, including:
- What social skills are and why they are important for child development
- How to recognize warning signs that a child may be experiencing difficulties with social interaction
- Why children need friends
- How to cope with bullying in both the real world and the online world
- Practical approaches and activities that parents can use to help children develop better social skills
The atmosphere throughout the seminar was warm and friendly. Parents actively listened, exchanged questions, and gained practical guidance that could be applied to raising their children in everyday life, particularly in building self-confidence, understanding their own emotions and those of others, and coping with social situations that children may encounter.
