Praram 9 Hospital Reinforces Thailand’s Medical AI Role Wins National Diamond-Level Award for the Second Consecutive Year Reflecting Its Commitment to Driving Thai HealthTech Toward the ASEAN Stage

Praram 9 Hospital received the Thai HealthTech Excellence Awards 2026 as a Diamond-level HealthTech Ecosystem Supporter for the second consecutive year at the Health Tech Thailand Executive Dinner 2026, held under the theme “Medical AI in Action: From Source Code to Scale.”
The award reflects the hospital’s continued commitment to supporting Thailand’s HealthTech Ecosystem through collaboration with government agencies, the private sector, startups, and medical partners, with the shared goal of advancing Thailand as a Medical & Wellness Hub and a regional Medical AI center in ASEAN.
Dr. Wittaya Wanpen, Deputy Managing Director of Business Development & Strategy Office of Praram 9 Hospital, said that the award reflects the hospital’s vision and commitment to advancing Thailand’s healthcare system through innovation, technology, and medical knowledge that can be applied to benefit patients and the healthcare system.
He added that the hospital supports the practical application of health innovations and technologies by providing opportunities for study, testing, and implementation in a real hospital environment, while sharing insights from patient care and clinical operations to help ensure innovations are practical, safe, and beneficial.
Dr. Wittaya concluded that AI and Digital Health are playing an increasingly important role in healthcare transformation worldwide. Praram 9 Hospital remains committed to supporting innovation, technology, and cross-sector collaboration to enhance healthcare services and contribute to Thailand’s future as a healthcare and Medical AI center in the ASEAN region.
